TRUE ROMANCE

A further collaboration with acclaimed Irish choreographer Zoë Ashe-Browne from the Royal Ballet of Flanders, shot on location in Antwerp in January 2022. This dance film serves as both a companion piece and reimagining of the short, a reflection on isolation and coercive control.
LIVE PERFORMANCE
In addition to live performance The Cope are eager to continue to push the boundaries of multidisciplinary collaboration across music, film, dance and all media. The Cope have just wrapped filming on a large scale dance film, choreographed by Zoë Ashe-Browne, to compliment tracks Oíche and Back On My Bullshit. Filming took place in Antwerp's newly renovated fine art museum - KMSKA, with the film set to premiere at the museum’s reopening in September. The Cope have also begun working on a series of demos for their second record.
